I know I've asked this question before but when ever I'm about to book a long stay I panic. My question is when you're booking a trip using borrowed points can the year you're borrowing them from be from the year beyond your trip or is it the year after the year you book?

I'm not sure if that's totally clear. My family and I are planning a trip for November, 2018. Can I use points from 2018 and 2019 even though I'll be booking in 2017?

Thanks much!

WHEN you book is irrelevant. The points must be available (banked, current, or borrowed) for use for the dates of the trip. So yes, you can use 2018 and 2019 points for a trip in November 2018 - unless you have a December use year. In that case, November 2018 is actually a part of the 2017 use year, so you'd need to use 2017 and 2018 points. 2019 points wouldn't be available for that date.
