Here in Phoenix, there isn't too much change, but I still remember my drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway during the peak of fall colors. It was so beautiful - just an incredible moment in my life. One day, I want to go back and do it again.

In the next week we have Halloween, turn the calendar to November, jump out of daylight savings time and as a nation, host a general election. Lots going on! Personally, I would prefer we just stay on DST, I don't like having it dark so early in the winter. Beyond that though, this little string with over 800 posts will be ticking another anniversary mid-month to hit six years.

We lived in Baton Rouge for a couple years and loved the food for sure. Although, I've got to say that my favorite is a simple crawfish boil. That or a low country boil suits me any day!
