Should we buy you your first drink at Epcot?
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
Awful quiet here! Anyone go see Cruella, Black Widow or going to see Jungle Cruise in the theater? I'm off to my first "in theater" experience in at least 20 months tonight to go see Black Widow. To me there's just something special about seeing a movie on the big screen. Don't get me wrong, Disney has done some good work with The Mandalorian, WandaVision and now Loki, but I still like the theater.

When the weather gets hot - things get slow. Huge fan of seeing movies in theatres. Despite how good the home cinema experience has gotten, it's just not the same. Plus - I like to get out of the house...

Was at the beach last week. Heat, sun, sand.....they take me along to drive and carry the beach chairs. But we did get to see the Blue Angels.

I don't really understand the allure of the beach. What do you guys like about it? I get bored just laying in the sand.

Maybe you don't know how to relax - LOL.
The sound and movement of the ocean, walking along the beach, naps in the sun, building sand castles, checking out turtle nests, the sunsets, the sunrises... life is better by the water. Vitamin Sea.

I go because i don't like being left home alone. There is an ancient thread of mine here that would explain why.

Ha! I don't know many people that "just lay in the sand." Usually we sit in chairs, relax, catch up with friends, enjoy a beverage or two and maybe take a swim or surf or paddle. I'm sure it's not much different than "going to the lake" when one lives on the interior of the country. There's just something very refreshing about being by the ocean or near water. You mush be an AZ native?

Anyone remember how this all started on 11/19/2014?

What's the deal on the number of posts that come up under "new posts?" When I first came to Intercot it would be pages and pages at a time. Usually about a dozen or so and it seems like lately it's maybe one, but rarely more than three. Has Intercot changed their variables on what they consider a new post?
I mention this only because went I logged on to look at the new posts today it was only one page worth. So I did a search on my old posts because there were some threads I commented on recently and I wanted to see if there were any updates...and there weren't.
So it got me wondering if I was a thread killer. I looked at 200 of the most recent threads I was on and I'm last person on 23 of these or 11.5%. I guess that doesn't make me a thread killer?
Anyone else ever feel like a thread killer?

Is this thread still a race or challenge not to be the thread killer? Or is it more a place to catch up on essentially anything non-Disney or maybe just our co-inhabitants? If you could rename this thread, what would you call it?

I don't go to the lake either or go tubing down the river. :P This is why I don't believe in astrology. I'm supposed to be a water sign, but I'm not a big fan of the water.
I was originally born in the Los Angeles area, but grew up in the desert part of southern California. Moved to Phoenix when I was in jr. high. I love the heat. Give me a nice hot fire over cold water any day.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
