I joined Intercort when it was in its infancy, back in the Spring of 1999 when it was about 18 months old. Obviously, I don't post much, but I certainly do read my share of threads. John maintains a top notch website and discussion board. What attracted me most to the Intercot discussion boards was the friendly attitude and culture. Few boards are like this.

Congrats and amazing you've been an active member this long. And even more amazing in this day of the super fast changing internet/social media world that this site & board is still around. With all the competition from twitter/instagram/facebook etc., I'm still hooked on old-fashioned boards like this one. Guess we are showing our age. Hooray for "old-school" internet!

The boards didn't look like this back then, it was more like one very long thread! I was one of the first moderators with Imalismom and along with John, we helped established the guidelines that are still used on the boards today. Play nice!
I have met some of my closest friends here on Icot and have shared joy, sorrow and some just plain crazy, fun times with them. It truly has been my best internet find ever!

I'm now wondering if it was before April if 1999. I use to be user #8, and I'm not user #11. That would mean I was one of the first users. It seems that the boards were reconfigured in April of 1999, and everyone's join dates were reset to then. Is that right?
