April 1, 2019Disney’s Hollywood Studios will mark a thrilling park milestone on May 1, 2019 – 30 years of bringing magical movies to life for Walt Disney World Resort guests! We can now share that on its 30th anniversary, the entire park will bring to life everyone's favorite films about a Galaxy Far, Far Away.
After listening to our Guests and opening Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge early because of high interest; Walt Disney Imagineering and LucasFilm have been working at a light speed pace to produce exciting ways to add classic Star Wars characters into all of the park’s already amazing attractions.
I am pleased to share today the first of these exciting enhancements with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Have you ever wondered who would win an epic showdown between Indiana Jones and Darth Vader? On May 1st wonder no more! The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular will feature an all new conclusion where Indiana Jones discovers an ancient Sith temple and goes lightsaber to lightsaber with Darth Vader! Will Indiana prevail or will he be tempted to join the Dark Side?
Also look for all new Star Wars themed menus at the park's dining locations and two all new Star Wars retail experiences to open in the former spaces of Keystone Clothiers and Legends of Hollywood. We can’t wait to share more, so keep checking www.waltdisneyworld.disney.go.com for updates!

2) The picture is not photo shopped, it actually was a real event in 2010 at Disney's Hollywood Studios during Star Wars Celebration V.

The telling sign it wasn't real... NO CUPCAKE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!! For sure Disney would have released a cupcake in the shape of Vader's helmet or Yoda's head...
