I just posted a story about new Haunted Mansion Merchandise coming this fall.

Where to put all this Spooktacular merch?
I know Jason reported a rumour earlier that Yankee Trader (closed till late September) might be going down for good making way for the new Haunted Mansion shop.
Is that something we should look forward to? Hmmmmmmmmm?

Yes. I always felt the WDW Haunted Mansion gift area should have been more than a cart. The store in DL is so much nicer and always had more merch. Looking forward to this in the fall.

The refurbishment was recently shortened from 8 to 5 weeks (now starting 7/28), but appears to still be planned.
This announcment of merchandise certainty supports the previous Cast speculation of transforming the exsiting store into a Haunted Mansion Gift Shop.

July 28th, 2014... Madame Leota and the 999 happy haunts from the Haunted Mansion attraction have also received your sympathetic vibrations. This fall, they are gathering to open a new merchandise destination in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida.
The new merchandise shop will be located in the current Yankee Trader shop, which will have its last day of operation on July 27, 2014. Inspired by Madame Leota, the new location will carry select items from the upcoming Haunted Mansion Authentic program including apparel, home goods, souvenirs, and more.

Guests may have to wait a little longer to shop in a store with wall-to-wall creeps, and hot & cold running chills.
Magic Kingdom Cast have reported that the on-going refurbishment has been extended through December 31, 2014.
The Official Disney Parks Blog has yet to amend its announcement of a "Fall" opening.
