Rumors

I don't have a rumor but wonder why Lucky has never returned to Florida?? He was there '04 / '05 ... my kids were very young. Any idea if he's slated to return ... ever ??

Not rumor but fact that Future World will be undergoing a complete redo in the near future. Empty areas to be redone and filled with new attractions. It will be awesome to see it when it is finished.
Rumored that another expansion is coming to MK. Have not heard any additional details

I think he was only there for testing before he was sent to his permanent home in Hong Kong Disneyland for it's opening in 2005.

Maybe I am remembering this wrong, but I could have sworn when they initially announced new Fantasyland, it was supposed to be a two phase project. In particular I thought there was supposed to be something with Tink and Pixie Hollow.

Epcot rumors:

GotG still coming to the Energy Pavilion, and will be a 3 minute (or less) coaster with a long, long, long queue... Basically the queue will take up more of the show building than the ride...

I am choosing to look at the bright side of this, if a new ride has a really long queue, than perhaps the queues of the older rides will be shorter.

Anything EPCOT Center would be nice at this point. So sad what that park has become - especially Future World.

Heard rumors of 1 to 3 new countries... or at least 1 to 3 countries getting attractions...

Pixie Hollow was in the original plans bur scraped when reaction to the new area was "too girly".... will add a MK rumor soon.

Well Epcot needs another good ride (ok several) to take the burdens off Test Track and Soarin... a GotG coaster will probably be popular enough, at first, to fill up a long queue... but they need to deliver on the ride experience and not cheapen it so they can create an extra long, fancy queue...

I'm not a fan of any more obscure Marvel branding in the parks. Disney seems to be making a lot of short sighted decisions lately regarding their Marvel properties. I mean, putting Dr. Strange into the kids club on the Fantasy cruise ship is just weird (how many kids under 12 even saw that movie?) And then this dumb GotG overlay at DCA Tower of Terror, which was completely unnecessary due to almost constant long lines there. I just feel like putting GotG into Epcot is just a huge mistake. It does need more rides, that is a given, but it's like they are forcing this movie into parks where it doesn't belong.

For the record, the GotG overlay looks absolutely hideous. I was at DCA yesterday and the tarps are off and it isn't good. This thing is going to be such an eye sore when all the scaffolding comes off.
