When all the construction is completely done, where will the bus stops be? We love having boat and buses close by the marketplace, but I've heard they are closing that stop. Anyone know?

Its been reported that when all the construction is done there will be only one stop right in the middle basically between the two parking garages.

Does anyone know where this proposed new bus stop will be located in relation to the Earl of Sandwich and the World of Disney?

Ok, the middle meant middle of the property or where entrance 3 from Buena Vista Drive is. That's the entrance directly across from the Team Disney building. This puts it near the AMC theatres and Planet Hollywood.

Sort of on topic, but if we were to go to a show at the HOB Orlando while at Disney, what time do the buses run until? Would rather not drive, btwn the traffic and having a few beverages.

I heard that you will soon have to scan your magic band to ride the buses to your resort. Any truth to this rumor?

Your attention please, the Walt Disney World Railroad is now boarding for a trip around the Magic Kingdom

DTD buses usually run until 2AM but it's always good to check when they drop you off.

I should certainly hope not, unless it is just to confirm that you are a Disney resort guest. DTD is a hub for going from resort to resort for dining, shopping, visiting.

If I am staying at POR and go to DTD, but have dining reservations at Poly, I would not want to have to go back to POR, grab a bus to a park, then another bus (or other form of transportation) to Poly.

I can, however, see them scanning to make sure you are a Disney resort guest, to make sure people aren't just using the free parking at DTD to visit the parks without paying for parking.

I was told last weekend they are going to be right in the middle DTD and modeled after the MK bus stops.

I think I'm going to have to always take the boat - good thing we usually stay at POFQ or POR.

I know they want to streamline transportation, and I know they want to check out more of "Disney Springs", but that can be a LONG WALK to get from the middle to each of the ends.

There really does need to be two stops. I know they want me to "explore", but there comes a point in every Disney vacation when you're just sick of walking ... and a trek across Disney Springs won't make me more likely to go there.

I totally agree with ibelieveindisneymagic. There needs to be more than 1 stop, way too much walking and I don't anticipate us really wanting to go to all the new stuff. DTD is a huge part of our vacation,(only do parks on a few days) but always loved being able to take boats or busses and connecting without a lot of walking. I guess that may be done.

the plan was for the stop near where the one for PI used to be to be the only one, but I was told a few weeks ago that right now they are planning on keeping the current one opne after the new one opens to see what the needs are.

Awesome! I hope they keep them open ... and I do think it would benefit them, the more stops, the easier it is to shop. (But I do also understand, the more stops, the slower the transportation overall).

It would be fantastic if they kept the current stop open. I love where the boats come in now, and then be able to get on busses right there would be great!!! Please listen WDW
