Good point about the boats. We want it to stay open because our shop is right there. 
Anyone have any new information? Is the old bus stop still open at this time and is the new one open now?

When we were there last week, the stop was still in the same place, near the Christmas store in the Marketplace.

Is the bus stop by the Christmas store still open, and does anyone know if the plan is to leave it open?

I suppose anything is possible, but it seems unlikely. Perhaps you heard that they are scanning bands at the airport, for the Disney Magical Express busses? This is now being done for resort guests.

We were sent to the new bus stop last week. Not what you want to hear when you are ready to collapse and dragging kids along. LOL.

Yes, the marketplace stop will no longer be used for Disney busses. It won't close (charters, off-site busses may still use it), but the regular Disney busses will be using the new stop.
As much as I'm not in love of the new stop, I am glad they won't have multiple stops! Way back in the day it was soooo slow.
