My son just informed me that the college football championship game is on Monday, January 14th, while we will be in Disney World. Lucky for my husband and my son, I had planned this day to go to Disney Springs, rent a car, and then go to the Polynesian for a 5:30 dinner. We've never been to ESPN Wide World of Sports. Will there be anything special going on that evening since this football game is on? We are planning on going to Universal the next day and don't want to be up late on Monday evening, but I'm wondering if there might be some special place the guys will want to go and view the game?

Ok, so do you mean the ESPN club on boardwalk in Downtown Disney? If the college football championship is that day - you can be guaranteed it will be packed to the gills. Best to get there early if you want to have a chance at a seat.
Now if you mean you have an event at ESPN Wide World of Sports while this is going on and want to watch the game there is the ESPN Sports Grill which serves food and has plenty of TV's as well.
