If anyone has gone to hear some music at the Scat Cat club Port Orleans french Quarter, I see that it says geared for adults but is it adult only? I'm staying the first night in port orleans riverside to get an early start on our vacation the next day where we are staying at beach club, so my park tickets don't start until the next day. We are going to disney springs that afternoon but it sounds nice to hear some music that night, I have a well behaved 6 1/2 year old who loves music, so if anyone has gone and could advise me if he would blend in or stick out like a sore thumb or worse if he's not allowed there, I'd appreciate a heads up. Also if anyone has stayed at PO and has other suggestions for something fun for us to do that night I'd be glad to hear that. Thanks again if anyone has any advice!

If it is a night when Yehaa Bob is playing at the River Roost at Port Orleans Riverside, you might want to give that a shot. Definitely 'kid friendly' even if it is at a 'lounge.' A quick boat ride or walk from Port Orleans French Quarter, if Scat Cat Club isn't a fit for you.

Yes, Scat Cat's is family-friendly, although they may have a cut-off time when children are no longer allowed in the bar area (I know at some WDW resort bars the cut-off time is 8 p.m.)
