Shopping App

It does work from home, I just downloaded from app store to see. I picked an item, put it in my bag, and signed in with my MDE account. It brought up the cc# I have on file and applied my AP discount.

It's called Shop Disney Parks and from what I can see, I like it. If you're looking for a specific item it tells you what stores on property carries it. If you get home and decide that you want to get something you saw, it will try and find it for you. I have noticed that it doesn't like abbreviations, for instance if I want to look for DVC merchandise I need to spell out Disney Vacation Club. I've actually pulled up items I'd never seen before.

Thank you for posting the link. I found it and there are many great souvenirs that will be heading to Virginia.

I found out about this on our last trip. Dangerous! We just got back a few days ago and I've already downloaded it and done some browsing. It will come in handy closer to Christmas though!

Thanks Lynn...but it also says they'll ship it to you? Is this if you are on property? Just wander through the Emporium or WOD and just scanning as you go without having to checkout? Sounds dangerous!

It's probably a good thing I don't have acess to this. LOL.

So, I noticed that they have a lot of food items available on the app. I thought I had been told in the past that they won't ship food items in the mail. Am I mistaken? It would be awesome if we could get food items shipped to our house! Does anyone know for sure?

I tried scanning a shirt I wanted at the Polynesian but it kept saying it didn't recognize it. I was able to search for and order a body lotion my mom saw and wanted. I did not order it until after we left Disney and I was able to have it shipped right to my house. The app is not perfect but it's pretty cool.

A couple of Poly Ts have been sent to the outlet.
