Lynn, I'm thinking the same thing. Wondering what exactly will it do besides walk around? Not very impressed by what I have seen in videos thus far.

Disney has shared additional details for what has been clarified to be a Pandora Utility Suit instead of an Amplified Mobility Platform:
Disney Parks & Resorts wrote: ... a Pandora Conservation Initiative (PCI) pilot recently demonstrated the Pandora Utility Suit that will soon be used to study the wildlife, collect plant samples, and survive Pandora’s terrain.
The suit will be part of a new streetmosphere where a PCI pilot will interact with Guests and share facts about Pandora's flora and fauna:

... these operators are telling the story of Pandora and their experience of what its like to be on this planet.
Guests reports have indicated that the new experience began Soft Openings today (4/8/18) ahead of the advertised 4/22/18 debut.

Looks kind of silly to me. and bulky, and w/ the crowds at pandora will be in the way. maybe i'll change my mind once i see it.
