I've always loved the mickey balloons but have never gotten one. I want to get one for my kids on our next trip but what do you do with them when you go on rides and you don't have kids in a stroller?

Why not get one on your way out of the park?

Yeah, wait until you're on your way out of the park. They're not permitted on *most* attractions.

Nor are they permitted at AKL.

We always get one as we leave the park on our first night. They last a LONG time (at least the 10 days of our trips) and DD enjoys having it in the room. :mickey:

Ours lasted almost 2 months. And only reason it died was because I was sick of running into it:D

Our DGD got one with the lights in it, and had a light show every night before they watched the Goodnight Duffy Story. Very cute

Awe!! This post makes me miss when my boys were little enough to want balloons on our trips. It's been a long a time since we bought a Mickey balloon.

I'm sure DD would LOVE to see how long ours could last if it could survive the drive home in the car. She'll be asking to bring it with us on the AutoTrain next time I'm sure.

Last I knew, they were about $13-15, maybe? That was a *while* back, though.

True but you can check your balloons with bell service and pick it up on your way out the next day. But I view that as a hassle and since we usually stay at AKLV we have never bought a balloon.

I'd like to know if they could be on a plane too, but I doubt it.
are they allowed on the busses back to your resort?
