Epcot has announced several updates for the American Adventure attraction:

I'm not even American but sheesh, it gives me goosebumps hearing the triumphant "America, Spread Your Golden Wings" music!! I'm glad they are updating the famous American faces at the end. A refresh to the iconic American individuals was overdue. And heck, who doesn't like John Williams. Lol!

Apparently, it is already finished. The major changes to the Gold Dreams video was removing Lance Armstrong and Tiger Woods, and adding Elon Musk and Beyonce. I have also heard that the new projections behind the audioanimatronics have a higher definition and blend better with the scene in the foreground.

Tiger? How can you take out Tiger? Greatest golfer of all time. Lance, sure. And Beyonce?? And Musk? the intergalactic litterer?

I went and saw this with the updates this weekend. The new projector definitely is an improvement for the projected scenes. I think everything else was the same except for the montage at the end. Definitely not a huge change, just a little refresher to the ending.
I am very happy they dint change the closing song!

Made amends and got help and is back at it. Still the greatest golfer.
If we start applying more than that, most everyone on the video will probably be removed. The statues too for that matter.

I wonder if it's still run by a Windows 3.1 server. When we took the four parks "Behind the Scenes" tour about five years ago, they told us it was run by Windows 3.1, and it worked perfectly, so why update it?

Though texas211 is correct, if that is suddenly going to be the standard, then a lot more of the attraction needs to be changed. The HOP too.

Yeah, everyone upon examination has something someone will be offended by. Especially folks from a bygone era. Im a huge sports fan, and if you look at any of the Hall of Fames, there are going to be very few saints. Now i'm not advocating putting jack the ripper or hitler in or anything, just a reasonableness to who is in or out.
Now, they need to make sure Louisville is out
