I love fun threads like this. So for my post #3456, it just makes sense to have a post about 7, right? I know. Stretching. Just roll with it. Let's hear your Top 7 attractions at Disney World. And yes, they can be food! Part of the WDW charm is all that good stuff to eat.

#1. Illuminations - I would skip every other attraction to see this show.
#2. Tower of Terror - So much better than it's DL sister.
#3. Splash Mt. - Greatest combo of Dark Ride and Thrill Ride
#4. Kilimanjaro Safaris - This ride never gets old.
#5. Wishes - There's something about that music build up and then the trumpet blast "Wishes!"
#6. Voice of Liberty - For a lifelong vocalist, this group/experience is tops.
#7. Expedition Everst - Man, I wish they had something like this at DL.

World Showcase Players would've made this list had they not gotten the axe. Bring them back!

USO - Cabana Bay 2020 & 2021; WDW-POR 2021
DL 2-17,8-17, 11-17; DL 2016; DL 11-2015; DL-DL-Hotel 2-2015; DL 2014; DL-Paradise Pier 2013; POFQ Dec 2012; CSR - Jan 2011; AKL-Kidani - Jan 2010; A.S.Mov - Dec 2008; CSR - Dec 2006; DL Feb 2006; CBR - Feb 2004; POR - Jun 2002

After consulting with my DW and DD9, here is our family's Top 7:

1. Rockin' Roller Coaster - Fast, no drops, good story, great music. All the thrills, none of the hills.

2. Artist Point - Best gluten-free meal ever (including the bread)

3. Soarin' - So unique, so fun. It's the *only* ride I've ever been on that gets applause at the end.

4. Kilimanjaro Safaris - Agree with the OP. Great ride, fun CMs, and animals are always interesting.

5. Stormalong Bay - Holy cow is that a great pool area. Different kinds of pools...sand bottomed, lazy river, great water slide, multiple hot tubs, etc. Just fantastic.

6. Splash Mountain - It's fun, repeatable, interesting every single time, and has thrills.

7. Toy Story Midway Mania - Great way to combine technologies. 3D, video games, dark ride, and never quite the same ride twice!

2002 - 2022: 20+ visits (POR, BW, All Stars, VWL, CSR, BLT, BC, SSR, CB, Dolphin, OKW, Poly, offsite x8)
DL - 1996, 2019
Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!

I just realized I messed up my 1st post! Top 7 doesn't mean a top ten list.

I will drop the Frozen ride. It might take a bit of time before we put this up there with Horizons (which I rode & loved.)

Take off Kid-cot...I can  elsewhere.

Then...Everest. Joe Rhode did a fantastic job with the theming, but it can't match the others.

This was fun.

I love these kinds of posts. And since the difference between my 7th favorite attraction/item and my 17th favorite is so slight, this could change at any moment. But here goes:

1.) Haunted Mansion
2.) POTC
3.) TOT
4.) RnRC
5.) Splash Mountain
6.) Illuminations
7.) Mickey Bar

(If I posted tomorrow, I'd have a completely different top 7!)

I like it when people explain their choices.

Basically, my list is of the things I look most forward to doing on my next visit to WDW (it's sad because Off-Kilter was always on this list:sob:)

1. Spaceship Earth - it is the most unique attraction and the original Epcot

2. World Showcase - I just love to stroll the area, search out the nooks...

3. Tower of Terror - the best themed thrill ride

4. Turtle Talk - make me laugh

5. Festival of the Lion King - pay to visit a theme park and get a Broadway musical for free

6. Jungle Cruise - make me laugh

7. Walking down Main Street USA:mickey:

These kind of post are fun.

1. Meeting Mickey and Minnie with young kids (had the joy of seeing my then 2 year old and 1 year old meet them for the first time ever earlier this year, I'm not sure if this really fits here, but I do think nothing will ever top this in my book)

2. COP - this is a "Pure Disney" attraction to me.

3. Space Mountain

4. Splash Mountain

5. American Adventure

6. Space Ship Earth

7. Soarin
