The start of our trip had a bit of a rocky start. The wedding I was talking about in my Pre-trip report- a few days before we left a relative that was very close to the bride died suddenly and it was a total shock for the entire family. so not only did we not make it in for the wedding we didnt go to a funeral. What a mess. But the wedding did go on as planned on Saturday and a lot of relatives said they partied and danced like the lady that passed away would have wanted. Very sad.
Our flight from Philly to MCO was delayed a few times and finally after 3 hours they brought in a new plane since ours still had mechanical issues. We got to POP around 11 pm which was a lot later than I had planned. At least we were able to get some food at the food court.
FP+ and Magic bands - I used my bands for everything (meals, purchases, park tickets). We had no problems getting into our rooms, charging items or our FP+. Everything worked like it was suppossed to so I was very happy.
Frozen activities at the Studios- these were all a lot of fun. I loved the ice skating andall the Frozen decorations were so pretty. The singalong was so much fun my 19 year old wanted to go back ( she was very lukewarm about going the first time). The processional was my least favorite but ok. We loved the fireworks!:cloud9: I haven't seen fireworks at the Studios since Scorcery in the Sky years old.
The worst thing about our trip was the HEAT! Never again in August!! So glad we made it to Florida during the hottest days this year ( not).

My husband has also said never again in August. We like March-April and October-November, though.
I'm not that interested in the Frozen events but I'm glad they were fun for you. Also glad the magic bands worked out well.
Sorry about the funeral-wedding situation. I'm glad they went on with it and had a good time. That has to be rough, though.

POP was fine and we did eat at the food court a few times. Everything was good. I didn't have housekeeping come in everyday but they did a good job and left us a bag of towels, shampoo etc. when we left the DND sign on the door.
Cast members- we both noticed they were either very friendly and happy or very indifferent. Some of the cast members I don't even know why they were employed at Disney. A lot of workers at MK looked totally bored and unhappy when helping with boarding the rides.
We had a lot of fun at the animation class at the Studios. We went to several of the classes. We had never been to the Jack Sparrow attraction and enjoyed that. Stephanie liked the Mine Train ride at MK. We got to do everything we wanted with the help of the FP+.
Other than the heat our trip was a lot of fun.

December and April are my favorite times to go.
My husband would have been totally bored with the Frozen activities. He might have liked them better when the girls were younger. Stephanie's favorite movie now that she is older is Tangled and she loves the area at the MK.

My youngest son and I did the animation class -- we both love it. We drew the snowman from Frozen. It really is a lot of fun!
It was hot though! We were there the first two weeks of August, and I don't know that we have ever experienced it so hot. It really changes the way you tour and eat and everything else!

One highlight I forgot - I got to see the original Off Kilter members!!!! Last few trips has been a group with a lady singer and a couple of the original OK members. Listening to them has always been a highlight of our past trips. My MIL loved them!

Your trip sounds great however I have never had a desire to go during the summer. Just too hot!
