Last night we had a late, exhausting night! We were lucky that a heavy rain with lots of booming thunder and lightening moved through about 2 hours before the party started. A lot of guests had dressed up and the outfits and makeup didn't do well with the rain and heat. Some of those outfits were amazing! My favorite was a simple one for Pain and Panic. Little wings attached to backs of these tshirts and the colors were light pastel and light hair coloring. Hard to describe but the guy and girl did a good job with a simple, inexpensive costume.
My daughter (19) and I had not planned our trip around this event. It just happened to be during our week trip. Normally when we have gone to a special event we don't make it a park day. But I already had 5 day passes bought and connected toour reservations. So we hit the parks early and did quite a bit but we were very tired by party time. I will never do that again. With the heat index 104 most of our park days we got tired faster.

At 8pm. Hades, Pain and Panic and Meg started the party off. Lots of fire and noise and jokes about melting the Frozen stage. Then Hades introduced the Villians for the night. Most of them came onstage with fun introductions and a few were on the video screen. Angelia Jolie as Malificent ended the introductions on the video screens and the party began. It was all very cool and took about 30 minutes.
Lines were crazy long and we never did get a tshirt. They only had one location for party merchandise which I found annoying. Other than specialty drinks, I didn't see any special foods. There was free face painting.
We went to the Guardian of the Galaxy dance party. We walked around taking pictures of Villians but didn't stand in any of the long lines. They gave everyone a lanyard with a Villlian design - a photo pass card is basically what replaced wrist bands. The Star Wars characters were fun to see wandering around and we got some good pictures.
We went to Fantasmic but other than the preshow yacking ( which gets annoying at some points). I was hoping maybe at the end there would be all Villians on the showboat or something different, but it was just a normal Fantasmic. Which is not a bad thing, but I was expecting a surprise of some kind.
We were exited out and ended up at the front entrance to the park. Stephanie and I were soooo tired and after looking at the map, we left to go back to Pop. At. 10:30. :(. Fireworks weren't until 12:45 and we were both so tired the thought of staying that late was too much.
They handed out gift bags with pins and little goodies and a poster that all the Villians signed and it had the logo that was used all over the park for the event.
Once we got back to the room and showered and ready for bed, I went outside and from our building at Pop on the 4 th floor got a great view of the fireworks. They were really good and you could hear the crowd still at the party yelling and screaming and hear Hades.

Not sure if this was worth what we paid for the event. But part of it was our own fault. If we had not tryed to do a park day then go to this late, late party, it would have been more enjoyable.
I probably would not go to this event if they have another one. There just wasn't enough to do except stand in lines.
It was crazy to only have one location for merchandise.
I 'm glad we got the chance to go. But I think it was an expensive event for us with not enough to do.
