I have a coworker who wants to try Universal Orlando for one day. His wife gets motion sickness, and they aren't big Harry Potter fans. Which park would be best for them to visit?

I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

The best park for older travelers is the original Universal studios. The rides are more "our" speed! Islands of Adventure us more thrill rides.

Speak for yourself!! I'm in this category, and IOA is one of our favorite parks anywhere. Given one day/one park at Universal, we'd definitely choose IOA.

It's really going to depend on what type of attractions you like to do. But keep in mind, there are a number of motion rides in the Universal side that might be an issue for someone who easily gets sick - Men In Black, Simpsons, Spiderman are all attractions that could cause motion issues - depending on the person.

Don't get me wrong I love IOA but my back doesn't. I can do most of the rides at US. I'm at WDW this week, tomorrow my last day. Great FandW festival this year.

They are spending most of their time at the Food and Wine Festival. I'll let them know your report. Smile

I would choose the studios, however every ride at Universal is a motion experience other than probably ET or Shrek. Both parks are fun, both are easy to walk around, both are easy to get on or off attractions. The quick service food is not very good anywhere. I’d save meal time for a sit down in the parks or in city walk. Whatever you decide hope you enjoy

Too many trips to keep track of now! Vacation WDW twice a year so any questions ask freely ☺️

My coworker said to tell all of you guys thank you for the advice. He's getting pretty excited about his trip.
