Can anyone share some info about their experiences? We are thinking of having supplies delivered at the start of our next visit.

I've never used Amazon delivery to a resort but I'm sure someone who has will be along shortly to share their experiences.

I haven't used Amazon either but I know people who do and love it, especially for water and snacks. I do suggest tho that you contact the resort you are staying at and check with them about their particular protocol, like how long they will hold the order and if there is a storage fee.
Effective April 2019, Walt Disney World resorts charge a $6.00 handling fee (per order) for in-room deliveries, packages, or grocery holds received through the front desk.
