Just saw that the EE Marathon is being held the weekend that I will be in WDW (May 1-2)....How does this affect crowds in AK? I was hoping to spend some time in that park on those days, but if it will be hard to get around and get into rides and shows, I may have to rethink my park visit schedule.

The race is run very early in the morning, and many participants and spectators leave afterwards for their hotels or other parks. Attendance at AK for the day may be a bit higher than other days that week, but it should not be difficult to get around or enjoy the park.

Expedition Everest - is a night time run, I believe. At any rate, I do not think it will effect your touring.
