We are going to be at WDW during the release of the movie. My boys really want to see it and not everyone in the family is a Star Wars fan. I am, but I can wait until I get home. Anyway, does anyone know if the theater at Disney Springs is selling tickets ahead of the opening, and if so, how much are they. I thought I could just send my boys over there for the night and they would be happy. :darth::trooper::chewy::yoda:

Yes, tickets are on sale now. $8-16, depending on time and version (normal or 3D). You can buy the tickets through Fandango. Zip code to use is 32830 when searching for the AMC theater in Disney Springs.

BTW, it looks like it's only being shown about 40 times a day there, so you'd best hurry :mickey:

That's awesome! Didn't WDW do a special event at DHS immediately following the first screening last time? I am guessing something would have been announced by now.

There is a "Galactic Nights" event at DHS on December 16th. Details can be found at https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/hollywood-studios/star-wars-galactic-nights/

I checked the movie times and it's crazy. Many of them are already sold out and trying to work it into our schedule this close to our trip is almost impossible. The only time that really fits is 10:30 pm on the 16th. Eek Idk if I want to go that late - yes, my DDs and I may go as well - and I also don't know if I want my DSs (18 and 16) taking the bus back to our resort alone that late. I've heard some not-so-nice stories about late night runs from bus drivers in the past.
