Today is the last round of chemo for my son for his aggressive ITP.
If you have any spare :pixie:, love & light, prayers, or good thoughts could you send them his way please
It will be about 8-12 weeks before we know if this series is even working to send him into remission. The Hema/Onc doctor says that generally about 60% of people respond to the treatment for short term [1-2 years] remission and about 20% for long term.

Waiting to hear the latest test results from today. His platelets had fallen last week.

No biggie. Glad they are on top of things with DS. Being informed and proactive really is crucial as is staying positive. Know if you need a shoulder or anything we are here for you so that you can be stronger for him. You have come so far already...you will overcome this! I have faith!
Lots and lots of :pixie: from our family to yours!
