INTERCOT Appearance On Travel With Rick

Character Meals Added at Liberty Tree Tavern

The Crystal Palace will be closing for refurbishment starting January 3, 2010, and will reopen to guests on February 15, 2010.To provide visitors with character dining experiences during this rehab, beginning January 3, 2010, Liberty Tree Tavern will open as a character dining location for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with all meals served in an all-you-care-to-enjoy, family-style setting. On February 15, 2010, Liberty Tree Tavern will resume its normal operation of serving lunch and dinner as a non-character location. Reservations for Liberty Tree Tavern  character meals began yesterday, October 14, 2009.

Sum of all Thrills Opens @ Innoventions

The first-ever Innoventions ride at Epcot Theme Park, The Sum of all Thrills, presented by Raytheon, has officially opened to the public. You innovate and then experience the creation in a state-of-the-art robotic simulator. Three vehicle choices appear at each design station: a roller coaster, bobsled or jet. Using a multi-touch, object recognition table, you use tools such as rulers and speed dials to design a ride. After designing, the information is saved on a special card. The card is then swiped at a “launch station” and your creative work is instantly uploaded to the simulator which you ride in.
