I received a letter from AKL letting me know that there will be construction there during my stay on May and that the noisiest work would be done between 9am-5pm. Has anyone experienced something similar? Not sure if it will keep the animals from coming closer to our Savannah room..
It depends on where the work is being done. If it's inside the buildings, noise outside would be minimal. If they're going to be working on the roofs or the exterior on the savanna side the noise might be enough to bother the animals.

I think it's all inside Jambo. They're doing a soft goods rehab which is supposed to be done late May and the concierge lounge will be closed in May for a refurb.
