Just booked for Jan 2017.

What can you tell me about A of A? Tips?

We are booked in the Cars suite as we wanted a smaller, quiet pool for our 4 year old who is on the spectrum.

How close is Cars to transportation? Food Court? It doesnt look like it is a huge resort. Is it on the same scale as the other values?

Cars is a great choice to be close to the food court and busses, etc. It is a very short walk, and there is a lot to look at and it goes quickly.

AoA is indeed HUGE, with the Little Mermaid section being a fair hike from the main building, but I think you made a great choice with Cars.

We stayed in the Cars suites in April. As Heather mentioned, AOA is a huge resort but the Cars section is convenient to everything. The Nemo section is directly off the main building and Cars is close by and quiet since there are no other sections after it. It is close enough to Nemo to easily use the feature pool and water play area if you decide that pool will work for your son. The Cars pool was quiet and the little cone cabanas are adorable. My kids love the theming at AOA and Cars is their favorite section.

One negative to AOA is the cafeteria gets very loud If that is any issue for your son , you may want to take food back to the room or eat at the outside tables.

We stayed in a Cars suite back in 2012 with our two autistic boys. They both loved it! It is actually quite a quiet resort overall and so much fun stuff to explore.

The Cars section is only a 5 min walk to the main building, not bad at all.
