Hubby & I just realized that it has been 10 years since we have camped at FW!
Have any of you stayed there, with NO kids or grandkids???
We think it may be fun to use FW as our base camp for all the Orlando activities, restaurants, etc.
May or may not even go to the parks......anyone have any experience with this????
(No kids, but will be bringing the dog)

We've done a fair amount of camping without kids but have not, to date, done that at Disney World. Why not make it an adult camping trip? Sounds like fun!!

We also do a lot of adult camping! We just got back form a week at St. Andrews State Park in PCB! Already looking at planning next years vacation! Quite possibly going to Fort Wilderness!
Thanks

We've done that several times, will be doing it again in a few weeks, and camping there in October for ICOT20. Fort Wilderness is a great base for storming the parks or just kicking back and enjoying nature, meeting new folks, or simply chilling out !
