We were unable to get our usual resort with free dining this time around and ended up at CBR. I've seen that the resort I want is available on different dates, but trying to avoid having the kids miss too much school if possible. So considering just trying CBR - stayed there once and didn't really have a strong opinion either way, but can't remember a few things about it and hoping someone can help.
1. Magical Express - we really like that CSR is always the first stop from airport which means first to get dropped off, last to get picked up. Anyone recall what the stop is for CBR?
2. Bus stops at parks - anyone recall if they CBR is one of the closer ones or farther out. I just don't want to be the last bus stop at every park. Care mostly about MK.
3. Aside from preferred locations - is there any area you like best? We try to shoot for the buildings near bus stops and shoot for the first bus stop to be picked up and dropped off. I think I heard there are different depending on what park you are going to?
And last - any pros/cons that anyone can give me would be great. Would especially like to hear from people who prefer one or the other and would like to know reasons. We love CSR and this may be our last trip for a while - so I just wanted to get an idea if there was anything about CBR that would really bother me enough to change my dates.
Thanks for all opinions and answers to my questions!

I stayed here many times as a kid, then most recently in September 2013. We were the last stop via Magical Express. As far as bus stops at the parks, we felt like the red-headed stepchild, as the CBR stop was out further than the All Stars most times. It was only close at one park (I forget which). It does take a long time as well for the bus to go around CBR and pick up at all the stops. That can get old real fast. What I noticed was that the busses for HS and EP would start at Jamaica (come in back entrance) and end with Trinidad South. The busses for MK, DTD and AK would start w/ Martinque and end with Barbados. In the early morning they did run busses on both sides though, so that was helpful.
I do love this resort though. My family doesn't see the point in wasting money on a preferred room. I can't justify it. Our favorite location is just over the bridge in Jamaica. We stayed in building 44 and that was very close to the Jamaica bus stop. Building 45 would be closer to the food court though. The main pool is amazing. The kids loved the pirate play area and the activities every afternoon - and of course the slides!
The food court was good. My biggest complaint with it was they did not stock things. Multiple mornings they ran out of coffee. Other times there would be no straws in any of the holders, things like that. I loved the sandwich shop.

Next up - January 2023 short trip! We just want to try that 50th Anniversary chocolate monstrosity at Mexico!
I was hesitant on this resort before our last stay but I can tell you I would stay there again just because of the buses. At Magic Kingdom it is one of the last spots at the end but we rarely ever had to wait for a bus and if we did it was never long. The only time we ever had to wait for a second bus to come was due to having multiple scooters to load on the bus close to park closing. The bus stop was closer at all the other parks if that helps.
I believe we were the last stop for Magic Express or close to it.
I would definately at least give this resort a try.
