So the elevator next to our room in building Ranchos 7A caught fire yesterday. My sister was at the resort & cast members came along & told her to pack up we were being moved while the power was out. In true Disney fashion after getting all our bags down 3 flights of stairs & stored, nobody seemed to know what was going on so we went to the lobby to inquire the status & were told we could return to our room (which smelled like burning electrical & climb back up 3 flights of stairs with all our bags) or opt for another resort because CSR was fully booked (crazy).
Needless to say 2 hours later welcome to our 2 bedroom suite at Kidani Village! (Too bad we were leaving the next morning)

I hope no one was hurt. Sorry you were inconvenienced but moving to a 2 bedroom suite isn't too bad. How were the accommodations?

At CSR it was mass confusion nobody seemed to know what was going on.
Once we were moved, Kidani was superb 👍
And the van ride provided was like a ride on Mr. Toads Wild Ride. The CM driving was clueless & ended up lost on Kidanis garage. lol

Ick! I would have expected Disney to be more organized.

Glad it worked out though, and that no one was injured/not too much damage.
