How do you rent the golf carts on line or do i have to call? And for those have stayed in the cabins, where is the best area to ask for? I have stayed there once and didn't really ask any questions, but did notice some places where closer to the boats. I really like this resort and want to take advantage of all the good things it has this time.

I don't think any of the cabins are really close to the boat dock area. In the past, I have requested a cabin as close as possible to the quiet pool and found that a nice area to stay in.
I've never rented a golf cart but I'm sure you can call Disney directly to reserve one for yourself.

OK thanks I'm going to call. I liked where we were last time, but I thought we could get closer. If not no big deal. I can't wait to take our bikes this time too. And hang out more around the grounds than the parks..

The closest cabin loops to the boats are 2100, 2200 and 2300. 2500 is the closet to the quiet pool and not too far from the other 3 loops I mentioned.
They are still not super close. All the camping sites are close. You can look at the resort map hereto get an idea.
