I noticed that quite a few buildings were removed at Caribbean Beach to make way for the new DVC Resort. We will be staying there for the first time in Nov 2019 and have no idea what is a good room to ask for. Wondering how the removal of the rooms has impacted the crowds for buses etc.

Regarding room selection, it may be important to you that Trinidad South has been renamed Barbados while Trinidad North is now just Trinidad.
The original Barbados section and part of Martinique was demolished as part of the construction of Disney's Riviera resort.
I am not aware of an exact number of room reductions off hand due to the reconfiguration, but it might be in the 15% - 20% range looking proportionally at the number of building removed vs the number left.
