I've decided to take a last minute trip in 3 weeks and we're staying at POP, which we've never done before. Any advice on building/room location?
I often stay there when I drive up alone for golf. I always stay in a preferred with a King. They typically give me something near the main building usually a few minutes walk. A couple of times I was right on the pool. I enjoy the ground floor. Walk out the front door and dive in.
Trips planned for 2016......
January..... Offfsite... Golf outing
It really depends. None of the buildings are in a bad location. If you're driving you'll want to request a room near the parking lot. If not then request one near "transportation" but all of the buildings are pretty much equal.

We like the 80s section. It's nice and quiet but not too far from the main building and buses.

I've always enjoyed the 50's section, in the Lady building facing away from the pool area. It's not as far of a walk (although the other sections aren't that much farther) from the food court and buses. I stayed in the 90's section as well and if you cut across the parking lot it is very close to the bus stops. Have a great stay!

I've stayed in the 50s building, ground floor, facing the pool. Liked the location alot, not really loud as I expected, and a short walk to the dining hall, front desk, etc

I loved the 90's building it was absolutely perfect close to bus stops and main building but not the extra cost and relatively close to pool.

We had a great time 2 years ago in the 80's section also!

+1 for the 80's section. The pool can be quieter and your pretty close to parking and the main building.

We liked 50's as well but we prefer the quiet side. We're not there to swim we only sleep there. So I guess it depends on what you consider "best" in location.
We love the 50's section! Not a far walk from anything and I love the 50's theme :mickey:

I love the 50's section. We just left and were in building 3 (tramp building), 1st floor right next to the 60's. Room 3143 & 3142. It's on the lake side so it's a short walk to AOA. We like the food court at AOA much better so this room location is great. I've already requested the same rooms for our bounceback.

We are in the 80's and we requested it to be close to the parking lot and we have an awesome spot that's close. It's an okay walk from the food court but I find it to be a hassle going there anyways unless absolutely necessary.
