Ok, not trying to sound dumb, but the preferred sites, you can bring a small camper right? I think I saw where they still had hook-ups for electricity.
Ours is a small pull behind. So I think it will fit.

From what I've seen, any of the sites (preferred, premium, standard) are large enough to be the home for most any sized rv/camper.
My 27 footer sat on a preferred site last year, and we had enough room for an additional 4 person tent, tailgate tent, the pickup, and the awning rolled out.
I've never been really clear about the designations, but I believe it's a combination of layout (some of the concrete pads are larger) and location.
We've even stayed on a tent/popup site that was large enough for our camper.
Shouldn't be a problem!

One more thing, is there dump stations, or should you go higher and get the full hook-up?

Just going off memory here, so I could be wrong. Also, it never hurts to call FW and ask.
As strange as this may sound, I do not believe they have a dump station at FW. However, I think there are only two loops in the campground that have sites without full hookups (the popup/tent sites). To my knowledge, the Premium, Preferred, and Standard loops all have full hookups.

I thought all had full hookups. "Preferred" meant good location & "Premium" meant larger concrete pad.

I'm pretty sure that is right. We always get preferred because they are close to the lake and Pioneer Hall. We have had a couple of preferred sites that were very cramped for our class A with slides on each side, but mostly we have had plenty of space.
I am pretty sure that only loops 2000 and 1500 do not have full hook up.
