We just got a letter that Pop refurb would be underway during our visit.

There is plenty of time for you to change resorts, which is why they're telling you now. By choosing to stay at POP, you're basically saying you're okay with the work being done. I wouldn't expect a discount since they're giving you advance warning.

Bummer about the pools, but it's nice to see a room refurb finally on the schedule for POP. Haven't stayed there in almost 5 years, but it was due for some touch ups then!

We love Pop. We just booked our trip for Nov 30 to Dec 9th. Should we be concerned the rooms will still be under construction during that time?

We experienced some road closures and increased maintenance activity during our recent stay. Having stayed at POP many times over the years- this Refurb is desperately needed. Our room (50s) was flat out grimy in some places. Lots of dust bunnies, soap scum, scrapes and marks everywhere.

Just about the same time I will be there...Nov. 29 - Dec. 6.
Will have to wait and see if there will be any rehabs at Pop for our time frame.
