Hi Everyone, been awhile posting but have been reading regularly. Hoping some of you very knowledgeable people can help. Planning for last week Nov/ first week Dec 2018 ( yes I know early :blush: ) - and lovely hubby says look at the Poly or Wilderness Lodge!! YAY! On looking it appears that these hotels have only a small number of wheelchair rooms with roll in shower, like 3 or 4!!! I found this very surprising due to their size. Is this correct?? You see, although hubby not confined to wheelchair, he is not steady enough on his feet to step into a bath ( even with handles) and stand to shower. Far safer to walk and sit.

I have read that Disney has a special telephone number for reserving rooms for people who have special needs. I believe they will guarantee that you will get the accommodations that you require. Hopefully someone will chime in here who has more knowledge of this.
