I thought I read something recently about only certain companies being able to deliver RV's to Ft Wilderness? I am thinking about renting one again and wanted to make sure I used an approved company. Any word on this?

This is from the Disney Website:

"Fully-Equipped Campsites
Great for larger parties, 4 types of campsites accommodate everything from tents to 45-foot and longer RVs—with a maximum of 10 Guests per site. Each campsite is equipped with privacy-enhancing landscaping, water, cable television and electrical hook-ups, a picnic table and a charcoal grill. Most campsites also include a sewer hook-up, and some even permit pets.

RVs can be rented by contacting a Disney Featured Provider, including:

Meacham’s RV Rental – (941) 224-4939
Escape RV Rental – (407) 374-3657
Kissimmee Orlando RV Rental – (407) 368-7899
Ohana Camper Rental – (386) 748-9328
When renting through one of these providers, you do not need to be present when the equipment is delivered to the Resort. The provider will work with our Cast Members to manage deliveries, set-up and returns of the rented RVs.his is from the Disney website:"

This is pretty interesting. I have never even thought about renting an RV to stay in the campground. We have stayed in the cabins a few times but it has been a while. I will have to look into this as it sounds like it would be something fun and different to try.

@1disneynut We did it last year and will do it again next month. We found we liked it as much, if not more, than the cabins. The price can be lower than the cabins!

We are using Kissimmee Orlando RV Rental for the second time.  They provide great service and a wide selection.  We love Ft. Wilderness and have been going there since we were both kids in the '70s.  It's changed quite a bit, and hoping to enjoy it before it changes even more.

Anyways, highly suggest doing the RV rental if you love FW but are not an RV owner!
