We are staying in the treehouse villas and I was wondering how secluded things really are. How long does it take to get to the main building, bus stops, etc.?

The treehouse are pretty secluded from the main building at SSR. You would likely need to drive or ride an internal bus to get to it. There is a walking path. I don't know the distance, but it isn't close.

The tree houses also have a couple of dedicated bus stops as well as a dedicated boat launch to Downtown Disney.

And about 40 more in between....

It really depends on your location - by a lot!!!

If you're in villa 7029-7035, your walk to the main building/pool area will be 10 minutes. You're also about 5 minutes away from the bus stop at the Grandstand section.

However, some of the further villas are quite a distance away - 7001 or 7051, for example, would warrant the use of internal buses.

You can Google the maps of the THV to get a better idea of the locations.

There is a dedicated boat launch to DTD near villas 7020, 7021, & 7022. The internal shuttle brings you to the bus stops at SSR, which will then transfer you to the parks - there is no dedicated bus from the THV to the parks.
