Finally! The long awaited walk way from the Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom is open! Definitely a perk for those who prefer walking to waiting for Disney transport.
I remember all of the "you can't walk there from here", but now you can!

Logistically, is it about the same walk (about 10 minutes) from MK to GF as it is from MK to BLT?

Oh, well finally! To be honest, I didn't really want to go to a semi-closed park. And there are no forecasts of what will happen in the spring? My travel plans in the spring have not yet been canceled. I try to follow the news.

BLT looks like it is closer to MK, but I don't think the walk would be too much longer! I volunteer to go and time it.

Yep, they finally built a bridge, one that opens out of the way for the barges to get through (apparently that was the reason it took so long to get one built). I can't wait to get to see it for myself!
