Hi everyone. A couple of questions regarding the new inclusion of alcoholic beverages in the 2018 plan. On the regular dining plan, is there an alcoholic beverage option at the quick service and table service credits?(so 2 per day)? Also, if at a meal you choose not to have an alcoholic beverage, can you save for another meal? Thanks!!! Also, a lot of quick service in MK does not offer alcohol! How is that handled?
Yes, you will get to choose an alcoholic beverage at both CS and TS at locations which offer it. I'm pretty sure it cannot be carried over (similar to dessert in the past) so you would get a nonalcoholic beverage instead. Hopefully one of the MJ ladies will come along and correct me if I am wrong.
EDIT:
Found this on Disney and it confirms what I thought
Beverages (2018 plan only):
Guests under 21 years of age can choose one non-alcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered). Guests 21 and older can choose either one non-alcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered) or one single-serving mixed cocktail, beer, or wine (where offered) within their meal entitlement.A single-serving non-alcoholic beverage includes items such as:
Artisanal Milkshakes
Fresh Smoothies
Premium Hot Chocolate
Soda, Coffee or Tea
A single-serving alcoholic beverage includes items such as:Beer or Cider
Wine or Sangria
Mixed Drinks and Specialty Cocktails
Most beer, wine and mixed drink beverages included, some exceptions apply. Guests 21 and older must present valid ID to be served alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may only be redeemed with a Quick-Service or Table-Service meal entitlement.

Thanks!!! Although I hope you turn out to be wrong. LOL
Look at it a different way. If you wanted to get a QS meal, you could order a non-alcoholic drink with it, but you wouldn't be able to save a "credit" and get your beverage later in the day. So it makes sense that alcohol would be treated the same way. But, you can always just buy that second drink! :mickey:

No, you cannot save your drinks for later. It is served with the meal.
Sorry
