You shouldn't. It is possible that not all of them can be modified, it depends on what is still available.
Generally, moving within the same table size is good (like 3 to 4 people), but from 3 or 6 could cause a problem at a really popular place, since there may not be any 6 person tables available.
Still, call or go online as soon as you know the new numbers, as sooner is always better in the Disney planning world.

I recommend just waiting until you checkin at each restaurant. If you try to change over the phone or online, it may tell you nothing is available. It won't hurt to check but I've needed to add 1 or 2 people multiple times in the past and it's ALWAYS been easiest for me to do it when we get to each restaurant. Nearly any table that seats 5, was intended for 6 anyway.
