If you like pork, Gaston's Tavern serves Roasted Pork Shanks which are probably one of the best tasting, most cost effective meals you can get at WDW. It's like a Turkey leg, just pork and it's tougher to walk around and eat it.
The wait for lunch at Be Our Guest can be over 1 hour. If you are hungry, Gaston's is an option.

Maybe. Although nothing is 100% official from Disney yet, there is lots of talk that lunch in the Beast's Castle will require an ADR. It makes sense, since currently there is a "no-so-secret" FastPass for lunch, for those staying on site.
So, right now, with the FP+ option still in place, walking up is hit or miss, they may or may not be taking walk-ups, and if so there may be a long wait.
Once it is an "official" ADR, it will probably be the same, if all of the reservations are taken, then no walk-ups. If not, you might be able to wait for a table.
