The wife and I had the pleasure of booking brunch at the California Grill at the Contemporary Hotel. It was indeed pricey at $80 per adult.
It started with valet parking being complimentary and meeting with a cast member at the curb who checked us in.
We then went up to the second floor desk where we were directed to the elevator that took us up directly to the restaruant.
Upon exiting the elevator, we were meet with someone to seat us who offered us a complimentary glass of mimosa. We were shown to our table which was right against the Windows. Now at night the view is fantastic but during the day, you can see for miles. Really spectacular.
Our server came over to us and explained how it works. There is a buffet starter section with a selection of sushi, meats, cheeses and deviled eggs also an assortment of fruits and yogurt. Then you picked your entree from a menu and it was brought to your table as you finished with the buffet style options. On the table was also an assortment of pasties.
They offered a Bloody Mary bar starting at $15 and of course an pay bar.
There was also live music being played during the brunch.
After brunch, we were also given a platter with assorted desserts including macaroons, chocolates, and lady fingers.
We were allowed to go out on the patios and take pictures from either end of the restaurant.
It was pricey, but the food and atmosphere was excellent and I think for a one time treat, well worth it. We were on the Disney dining plan and it does take 2 entitlements. We used 2 and paid for the other person seperately.
The offered to call down and have the car brought to the front for us also.

We have this planned for our Sept/Oct trip. It's a birthday treat. Looking forward to it.

Doing it November. I've heard other good reviews as well. With the valet parking we'll driver over and then walk to MK. I'm assuming that valet is still good for all day parking.
