We will be staying offsite, but would like to go for a couple of meals in resorts. Can we get into the resorts at this time? Do we have to have a dining reservation? Can we mobile order from quick service and be allowed in? We also would resort hop after we have eaten at a resort. Thank you

Disney more times than I can remember.
Have stayed at Fort Wilderness, Fort Wilderness Cabins, Caribbean Beach, Dixie Landings, Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter and Pop Century

Yes, if you have a confirmed dining reservation you will be allowed in. I've heard about mixed experiences with the mobile order. Sometimes that has been "enough" for access, sometimes not.

If you're visiting a park, you can take the bus from the park to the resort for your meal, and then head back to your car.
