Back at the 180 day mark (up to about the 150 day mark), I couldn't get ANY ADR for the Boathouse. I was trying for a lunch ADR on 12/3, but there was NADA our entire trip.
On a whim, I tried again yesterday. I had my pick of times. Any time I tried for (and then some) were available.
I'm wondering if they just don't quite adhere to the 180 day rule. Anyhoo, we got our lunch ADR, so we will be having a wonderful (and probably huge) meal there before we head to MVMCP that night!!
If you've been waiting to get in... give it a shot!!

I was told Open Table only went 60 days out or so. Can you book earlier than that with them?
I've only ever booked a week or so in advance.

Yes, you can book up to 180-days using Open Table for the Boathouse.
I'm assuming it is to bring them in line with the rest of Disney bookings. In general, for the restaurants at DTD, it is better to contact them directly for booking, as they don't seem to release all of their availability into the Disney Dining system.
