Dining with a group of 9. (No dining plan). If we make a reservation for 9 and all get seated together do we have to pay 1 check or can we pay on separate checks? I understand we will be charged the gratuity like a group which is fine.
My husband and I have Tables in Wonderland which we would like to use for our meals.

It's not a problem, just let them know in the beginning. Do try to help them out by ordering per each check group and being clear on who goes where.

Personal experience has been that Disney (on both coasts) seems to be the one major travel destination that assumes one check for a large group as the default.
Never had a problem if separate checks were requested at the beginning of the meal, but if one isn't requested it is unlikely the server will ask for a preference (per my own experience).
