Morimoto Street Food, the Counter Service location attached to Morimoto Asia, has opened. The new location is currently open for Dinner only from 5:00 pm till 11:00 pm daily.

Despite the apparent permanence of the walk-up window and signage, the official opening announcement stated this would be a "limited" offering. It has yet to be confirmed if this is an error or if the counter service location is planned to only operate Seasonally.

I saw the area where this is set up when my sister and I ate lunch there on the 22nd. There is a nice seating area attached to it. We are hoping it does become permanent!

I have to say that I was kinda skeptical about eating there last week, but was I ever wrong !!! It was one of our best meals. The food and service was great with a small, small exception of the hostess .... we were a party of 10 and she kept trying to give us two tables and told us they had no tables of 10 at all, then after her manager came to rescue her did she learn that there were in fact several tables to accommodate 10. Morimoto will most certainly be a return eatery !!
