my family has a resort reservation in mid-December. I wanted to book in a resort restaurant for party including family that lives locally. Can I book a table for 11 beyond the 180 days (since we are staying for 7 days), when the party on the vacation is only 5? Also, do children under 2 count toward party size?

You can book for as many people as you need. And all people, even infants, are included in the head count.

You might want to give a call now to see what you need to do. Online I know checks for eligible people when booking past the 180 days. I assume that MDE checks names (which need to be assigned) for people linked to your account. You want to make sure that's set up.

I just did that in March for 11 people for 2 weeks. Everyone arrived at different times. Once I had gone through the extremely, annoying part of having them all set up on my MDE account, I had no problems making dinner ressies for whatever number of people I wanted.

Now the FPs were a different story altogether . . . :shake:
