Has anyone tried The Wave?? Saw a video/review on it tonight and the couple loved it but from what I could tell the portions were very small.
Loved their breakfast! Having the ability to either order off the menu or have the buffet works well for us. Haven't been for dinner since 2016, I thought the food was very good and would go back again. Don't remember the portion sizes being smaller than Disney average so that could be new.

The Wave is one of the hidden gems at WDW. We eat dinner there every trip since we discovered it. In fact we have a resi scheduled for our trip this Sept.
As far as portions we have never left hungry. We consider most of the meals as good if not better than Cali Grill.

Ate at the bar there recently. We didn't have reservations but there was plenty of room at the bar the evening we went there and you can order off the full menu there. I don't remember exactly what we had but our portions were ample and the food was good. We did not leave hungry.

Portions may vary a little from dish to dish. I had the Signature Burger in the lounge where there for ICOT20 and it was your typical table service burger portion size.

We've done The Wave the last few visits for their breakfast buffet. It' a nice alternative to Chef Mickey's for a slightly more sophisticated crowd.
