My DDs would still like to do this meet & greet. We couldn't last time because I didn't know you had to do the FP or wait 4 hours. If we want to do it later this summer, should I get a FP for it? Thanks! :mickey:

I just checked MDE, and the wait time right now is 90 minutes. I'm pretty sure it won't be less (except perhaps at the very end of the day), so I would get a FP+, no question about it!

I was just there June 4th, Saturday. Got Tinkerbell and Mickey (the TALKING MICKEY) to sign my pillow case, then went to Anna and Elsa, the wait was like maybe 15 mins, they signed as well. It justs depneds on how fast you walk, if you go right at opening, I did not use a fast pass. I was suprised, but happy! Smile I then went to several others for them to sign, new thing I am doing instead of Auto Book.

What kind of a pen are you using? And is this a pillowcase that you are actually using, or just for show? It's a great idea! My nieces would love to sleep on the characters signatures- but it would not be a good scene if it wore off easily!

We've done the pillow cases, we just used sharpies and they lasted quite well. Fabric markers would be better, but we didn't want to carry a bunch of different markers in the parks.

The thing we've loved best is getting a photo mat signed, it looks awesome filled with signatures and a great character pic in the middle ... just another idea.

A friend of mine took her daughter straight there at opening and had a very minimal wait in early December last year. I think we will end up doing this the first day in MK next time we go. For my daughter, I can't think of what I would rather take her to do more right at opening anyways. Even with our FP for Rapunzel during what I found to be a very busy time frame (september free dining) we ended up waiting just as long as the wait time was for anyways.
