Trying to understand impact of the villains dessert party.........
1. Do the villains come out for meet and greets after their castle show? Or is the only place to see Maleficent is at the dessert party?
I have read conflicting info on this and trying to see if anyone who has gone on the first or after this Tuesday's party - can give us a 411.
From what I'm seeing the only place to meet the villains will be at the Villain's Soriee Party. The will not meet after the show and they will not appear at Fairytale Hall.

The early reports I read is that she is only appearing at the Villain's Soriee Party.
Sorry ... I know a lot of people will be disappointed.

Engaged at the castle!
My Disney Home is POFQ
I wrote guest relations - should be interesting. On the ticket web-page it still states:
Villain's Mix and Mingle
Your favorite Disney Villains take center stage in this Halloween production - stick around, you don't know who you may meet after the show.
We do Halloween instead of xmas, because my 12 yr old daughter loves Maleficent. If this is the new norm - we may alternate parties now. No reason to concentrate on Halloween........
The thing at CRT is only for the people who have the dessert ticket. Maleficent will only be there (the villains will not be meeting after Mix and Mingle)

Sent this to Guest Relations... There were a couple of previous emails - where I explained my question - better.......
Thnx for the reply..... Just to let you know, this will impact future trips for us. Based on 2 things...
1. We went for Halloween, just so my daughter could meet Maleficent.
2. I am very upset that the event has had a major change [downgrade] and it was not communicated either by your website or while purchasing the tickets. Especially after the Maleficent movie that was in the theater this year.
For my benefit can you please explain what the Disney web-page is referring to when stating the following:
Villain's Mix and Mingle
Your favorite Disney Villains take center stage in this Halloween production - stick around, you don't know who you may meet after the show.
If Disney has changed the meet & greet after the show, it's misleading to have the web-page describing the event state that there is one.
The Response
Dear Thomas,
Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.
We sincerely apologize for any frustration or disappointment this has caused. Maleficent and the Queen will not be greeting Guests during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Guests will be able to see them in Mickey’s “Boo to You” Halloween Parade as well as Villains Mix & Mingle – Live on Stage. Other Disney Villains can be found throughout the park, as well as at Club Villain in the Diamond Horseshoe. After further review, we determined that Princess Fairytale Hall would not be able to accommodate the demand for the Maleficent and the Queen character greetings and there is not another suitable location available during the party. Due to this, character greetings are no longer being offered for these specific characters.
We also apologize for any confusion or misleading information you have seen in regards to character meet and greets being offered online. We regularly review our entertainment offerings to ensure we provide the best experience possible, and in this case, a decision was made to adjust the line-up after it had been announced.
If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.
Have a magical day!
Sincerely,
Lee Hampton

that was a good response, and it makes sense.
